Why this ABC show is getting worse each season and brings on sketchy contestants

If you are someone that's had to endure a full season of The Bachelor, like me, we must qualify for some sort of compensation for the hours of brainless nonsense that ABC considers 'reality tv' . The Bachelor is an American dating show hosted by Chris Harrison that has been on for 20 years and hasn't changed since. The franchise revolves around a single bachelor or bachelorette on the quest for love with 30 singles that they can choose from who are living all together in " The Bachelor Mansion." In each episode, there are group dates or 1-on-1 dates to beautiful destinations in which these singles fight for the attention of the bachelor. These episodes usually end with a rose ceremony in which contestants get eliminated based on how well you hit it off with the bachelor. If you are chosen to stay you'll be offered a rose, the ones who don't have to leave.
Within the first couple minutes of watching this show, people are already falling in love based on a 5-minute first impression in which they only talked about their name, age, and occupation. Off the bat you can tell the show is ingenuously fake. Most of the conversations these people have are surface-level small talk someone can have with their neighbor. Yet, you'll see these poor singles are tearing up over whether they'll receive a rose that week with someonethat they barely know. Most of the marriages or relationships that come out of The Bachelor rarely last either. It might just be the sheer absence of helicopter rides over Tahitian waterfalls and the hit of real-life problems that make most of these couples split up. This show completely undermines what love really looks like.
However, that doesn't mean that the show hasn't racked up an audience of over 5.7 million viewers. Sure there is some sort of entertainment value in seeing multiple dating tropes while these people fight over one single person but for 25 seasons of the same thing, you begin to wonder how this show has even lasted this long. The network has a reputation for casting similar people that portray different characters such as the goofy, dumb, or villainous ones. They drunken these contestants up with bottomless mimosas and degrade these people for entertainment purposes. It's almost sad watching the things they'll air for views such as seeing someone break down and running away or getting into physical altercations with other contestants. It is a predictable show that angers you more than it entertains. If you're looking for a fun digestible show you won't find it watching The Bachelor. So that is a no from me, I will not be accepting this rose.
